I've used them and they're not that good I'm afraid, the wool is crap. If you want the "bling" version of Major Konigs' uniform, you'll need a gaberdine uniform anyway.

The tunic and cap you bought off me are the Konig "in the field" woolen ones. If you watch Enemy at the Gates when Konig first arrives in Stalingrad (on the train and in Von Paulus' HQ), you'll see he's wearing a "proper" officers' cut and cloth uniform, complete with "French" cuffs and a very natty gaberdine visor cap as well.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

This is where you inform me that they are as rare as gold plated hens teeth or require me putting up a kidney for sale on ebay to fund a uniform that I would wear twice maybe or three times a year? Oh well at least you stopped me wasting money going down the wrong path!
Cheers :good:

Actually, Pirschen does some nice, well priced gaberdines AND he's on Ebay (so I'm not going o.t here). I'm sure Dog Green or Anthony could source you an appropriately Jager piped gaberdine visor as well.

All of the food is good to eat and has a use by date of February 2010.'
